Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.

ROLE:

The role will be within the HFE Risk and Compliance Department providing second line of defence to the business and reporting into the Compliance and Risk Section Manager. Responsibilities will include conducting thematic reviews, risk management, internal and external audit activity and assisting HFE with meeting its legal and regulatory obligations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting the Risk and Compliance department in ensuring that HFE meets its legal and regulatory obligations.
• Conducting thorough thematic reviews from a second line approach in key business areas such as complaints, affordability and creditworthiness assessments, vulnerable customers and user access and producing in depth reports on findings and recommended next steps.
• Shared responsibility for risk management activity.
• Assisting with Risk Management across HFE, ensuring internal systems and assessments are frequently updated.
• Supporting the business with Risk Management queries.
• Horizon scanning to identify regulatory announcements and upcoming changes and writing briefing notes covering key regulatory updates and announcements for senior management.
• Conducting monthly transactional monitoring of key operational areas, for example, Data Subject Access Requests, breaches and financial promotions.
