Responsibilities :

• Consult with clients to understand and address canine behavioural issues and training requirements in one-on-one training sessions.
• During group training classes, f ollow a provided training curriculum broken down into weekly milestones.
• Instruct dogs in fundamental commands using effective, positive-reinforcement training methods.
• Educate clients on proper training techniques to reinforce and sustain their dogs’ acquired behaviours and skills.

Requirements :

• A dog training qualification that promotes ethical, positive practices (e.g., Certificate IV in Animal Training and Behaviour or similar.
• Proven ability to provide high-quality, ethically minded dog training.
• Dog handling experience using ethical, positive techniques.
• A commitment to high-quality customer service .
• A good understanding of dog behaviour , including breed-specific traits.
