JOB SUMMARY

With offices and regulatory licensing across Canada, our team of dedicated staff and strategic partners are ready to deliver exceptional products and services that exceed expectations.
R2 Gaming is currently looking for dynamic, detail oriented and customer focused Field Service Installers/Technicians to support medium term contracts for installation projects within Ontario casinos, on a contractual basis.
The anticipated hours required are 30-40 hours per week, with periodic overtime

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Education and Experience

  • We are seeking a motivated candidate who is eager to learn. While prior experience is preferred, we are committed to providing training and development opportunities for the right individual to succeed in this role
  • Preference will be given towards candidates with experience working on casino gaming related equipment or similar equipment in a related field
  • Technical manufacturer and gaming equipment knowledge

Abilities and Skills

  • Be a quick learner to understand new technologies
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and techniques
  • Detail oriented and excellent multitasking skills
  • Evidence of strong interpersonal and exceptional customer service skills with the ability to excel in settings requiring teamwork and collaboration

  • Proficient electronics and technical oriented service skill
  • Ability to log, track, administer and report service activities

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Ontario Class G license with clean record and own transportation
  • Willing and able to travel across the Province of Ontario a week at a time
  • Able to obtain and maintain licensing with regulatory bodies, such as the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
The associate frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance. The associate must be able to move, and control 300 pounds with the aid of dollies and tools; able to lift and move 40 pounds short distances without mechanical aid and frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Salary: $21.00 to $24.00 /hour depending upon experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure gaming and related equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and issues in a timely manner
  • Perform equipment upgrades as required
  • Provide first rate personable, proactive and timely customer service
  • Manage and track parts inventory usage in the field
  • Other duties as required to support ongoing and new business ventures
