Description:
[What the role is]
Manage the daily financial operations (AP and Fixed Asset) of STB.
[What you will be working on]
- Process Vendors’ invoices including monitoring of invoice routing & approval in financial system and reviewing invoice details such as Payment Method, Spend Category, Cost centre, Fund, Project, Business Unit, Tax codes, Withholding Tax etc.
- For payments processed by Finance, ensure that these payments are supported with relevant approvals & payment documents and are in accordance with STB’s policy and procedures.
- Monitor invoices due date and highlight overdue invoices for immediate actions.
- Provide guidance and advice to Business Units on STB’s Procurement and Finance processes, policies, and guidelines as Business Partner.
- Monitor delayed payment tasks (Goods receipt, PO confirmation and invoice approvals) and remind relevant Business Units to perform those tasks promptly.
- Handle any GST and WHT filing/queries/issues pertaining to the invoice payment.
- Ensure proper & prompt capitalisation, disposal, and write-off of Fixed Assets in accordance with STB’s policy and procedures.
- Ensure that the Fixed Assets register is kept updated and properly maintained.
- Prepare relevant Year-End schedules.
- Voucher Management
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
[What we are looking for]
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Hands-on experience with financial systems such as Workday
- Knowledge on GST requirements
- More than 3 years of experience in Account payables and finance-related functions
- Degree or Professional Qualification in Accountancy/Business
- Proficiency of Government Instruction Manual
- Knowledge on Withholding Tax
