You will help Heathrow shape and deliver procurement solutions and contracts against its business priorities and identify new opportunities that continuously deliver value to the business.

As the Contract Manager, you’ll lead or support in the creation and delivery of pre-Contract Strategies, Category Strategies including total cost of ownership and researching of market best practise. This will include pre-contract strategies, options, stakeholder consultation, market assessment, sourcing, VfM assessment and ongoing supplier and contract management of Marketing and Digital suppliers.

  • Leading subcategory pipeline of Marketing procurement activities.
  • Developing and operating new innovative strategies using creative commercial models, market leading technology and trends to drive competitive edge.
  • Leading end-to-end sourcing activities including creation of evaluation criteria which align with the business and the broader business / market strategies.
  • Operating within the governance process and produce any required documentation to progress the services or goods procurement.
  • Challenging business plans to ensure robustness of approach that maximises commercial opportunity and mitigates risk.
  • Operating and administering robust contract management process to realise maximum benefit from the sourcing activity while driving a behavioural safety agenda.
  • Engaging with the external market for procurement matters e.g. new commercial models, market shifts, new product offerings, innovation and trends; bring back best practices and lead initiatives to embed them within the operations.
  • Ensuring the delivery through compliance with regulations but to also encourage the sourcing staff to always adopt the most commercially sensible approach.
  • Coordinating and chairing supplier management reviews to deliver benefits and savings for continuous improvement targets whilst meeting all contract, regulatory and exit strategy requirements.
  • Coaching business owners of contracts in their day-to-day accountabilities, driving supplier performance to meet business objectives.
  • Relevant experience in Marketing, Mar-Tec and/or Digital/Technology and Professional Services with a commercial and contractual bias.
  • Demonstrable experience in a variety of Procurement and Contracting models relevant to the business area of operation including but not limited to Framework and Services Agreements
  • Clear understanding of contract terms and conditions
  • Highly customer focused and ability to understand the needs of the business
  • Ability to interpret financial data and apply to decision making
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise in a complex, fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organisation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
