WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, commercial, or legal discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in contract management, ideally within logistics, shipping, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of legal principles related to contracts and compliance, with the ability to identify and manage legal risks within a commercial context.
• Experience supporting contract negotiations and providing contractual advice in project-based environments.
• Familiarity with contract and risk management, with the ability to communicate potential risks clearly.
• Strong contract drafting and review skills.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (both written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with various stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts for global projects, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Support tender management in selecting contract forms that align with the type of service and related risks.
• Collaborate with project management to identify potential claims, changes, and variations, ensuring timely documentation and communication.
• Prepare summaries of key contract terms for project managers and other stakeholders.
• Participate in risk management discussions, offering insights to support decision-making.
• Assist in the development of subcontract terms that are consistent with the main contract and help mitigate risks.
• Work with project management to maintain subcontractor relationships, ensuring adherence to the main contract.
• Help resolve contract-related issues in line with Mammoet’s values, ensuring smooth project execution.
