This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Contract Support Specialist for our Client’s World Trade Center, NY – field office. Be involved in projects with our PMCM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact

  • Coordinate with staff.
  • Under the general supervision of the Engineering of Construction Department or designee, performs support duties of a diverse nature requiring some independent analysis, exercise of judgment in task execution, and detailed knowledge of company procedures related to the work performed.
  • Have full knowledge and familiarity with contract documents, preparing and/or reviewing payment applications, performing desk audits of contractor billings, ensuring proper documentation is received from contractors for all aspects of the contract, preparing monthly reports, monitoring contracts.
  • Preparing Project Meeting Minutes, preparing general correspondence, scheduling meetings/ inspections, faxing, posting information to logs; maintaining databases, records and filing systems; making follow up calls and appointments; communicating by phone, email, and 2-way radio; monitoring inventory; and coordinating processes.Other duties as assigned.

  • Who You Are

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience to include Engineering or Construction and some accounting experience.
  • Familiar with construction and construction management terms and is proficient in data entry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
  • Verbal communication includes contract staff, Resident Engineer, facility staff and outside contractors.
  • Experience in contract administration.
  • Demonstrated ability in: Preparing and/or reviewing payment applications.
  • Ability to obtain a high SWAC clearance.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Drive, SharePoint, and SAP., Wintrak. Will be trained for inputting information into PA programs. Construction audit or bookkeeping administration experience helpful.
  • Demonstrate ability to exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct.
  • Proven ability to adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

  • This role is subject to a client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy. As such, employee may be subject to random drug/alcohol tests. A copy of the client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy will be provided during employee onboarding and is available upon applicant request. “This hire will be contingent upon client selection and successful background check.

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in business or engineering is preferred.
  • This position is subject to and contingent upon client approval of candidates put forth for consideration by WSP.Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

    Compensation:
    Expected Salary (all locations): $41,800 - $75300
    WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
