Description:
DESIRED COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in Surveying for drill programs on remote sites in extreme weather conditions;
- Experience performing downhole gyro surveys for bore hole orientation and control on exploration drill programs;
- Degree in Engineering or Geomatics;
- Familiarity with the Sprint IQ Gyro. WHIMS Certification and/or Level 1 First Aid considered an asset; and
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labour.

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily surveying tasks, including, Laying out drill hole collars, conducting downhole gyro and field surveys, collecting final drill hole coordinates and assessing drill sites for operational efficiency and safety;
- Support geological and geophysical programs in a safe and efficient manner;
- Conduct regular drill site visits to assess conditions, collect data, and recommend improvements;
- Plan, lay out, and maintain trails for mobile equipment to optimize safety and operational efficiency;
- Prepare and submit reports on completed work to the Supervisor;
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings to ensure alignment with safety protocols and policies; and
- Maintain compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies during all geological activities.
