JOB SUMMARY:

As a contracting sales engineer, you will be responsible for working directly with building owner accounts to maximize account penetration and customer retention. You will also provide knowledge and consultation in the form of developing HVAC system related solutions for customer problems, including financial and performance-based considerations. Trane always focuses on a total solution to provide our customers with the most energy efficient buildings! Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Bachelor’s degree in mechanical and electrical engineering
 The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of solution sales experience
 Must have direct selling experience with good connection consultants and owners
 Experience working in consultant or general contractor firm will be an added advantage
 Must have a proven track record of developing and closing net new business
 Must have strong presentation skills and demonstrated experience pricing systems for customers

Responsibilities:

 Responsible for identifying potential building owners, key customers and construction projects owner and develop specific action plans to grow identified accounts.
 Consistently ascertains customer needs and current market opportunities. Converts leads into opportunities by identifying customer’s real problems and needs, providing unique solutions to address customer’s issues, and presenting proposal to the right levels in the customer organization.
 Develops multiple relationships with buying influences in the customer’s organization, including direct owners, consultants, facility manager, project managers, project engineers, and purchasing.
 Responsible to update regularly Market Coverage System for found/bid/wins.
 Any other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by the company
