Job Description
The Project:
HumeLink East involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with the design and construction of 230km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking an individual who can help us continually enhance our Contracts & Procurement processes, spot opportunities early, and ensure that our contracts management team is a high functioning team, minimizing risk and maximizing gains.
Key Accountabilities:
- Full contract lifecycle management, from pre-award negotiations to post award management whilst ensuring Acciona policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Reviewing tenders, drawing up sub-contracts in line with the head contract and on-boarding successful subbies.
- Maintain a secure document repository by scanning and storing all sub/contracts in line with our business protocols.
- Provide invaluable support to the project team in managing subcontractor and supplier payments, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure subcontractors adhere to all subcontract terms and maintain a register of variations.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce. Legal, Engineering or relevant discipline or extensive demonstrated work experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in a similar ideally in infrastructure, building, construction, energy or manufacturing highly desirable
- Experience in successful application of contract systems and procedures so that tracking and reporting is accurate to inform decisive and positive actions in the management of cost and forecast.
