Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The Construction Contract Administrator will directly support the Director of Development and various Project Managers to ensure successful and timely administration of contracts, including organizing and managing the monthly billing process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Coordinate with Director of Development and in-house legal counsel to generate construction contracts for General Contractors and Vendors
? Maintain documentation for all vendors and contractors performing services including business licenses, certificates of insurance, and documentation of invoices/payments
? Manage and organize monthly billing process by ensuring all contractors are billing timely
? Assist in the review monthly AIA Applications for Payment process
? Prepare change orders for review by Project Managers
? Schedule meeting and coordination with Project Managers to review monthly billings
? Assist Accounting in compiling documentation needed for monthly construction financing draws
? Assist in the assembling of bid documents, including plans, specifications, and insurance requirements

? College degree preferred, Accounting is a plus
? 3+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry
? Proficiency in MS Excel
? Experience with AIA Applications for Payment (G702/703) is ideal
? Experience with construction contracts is a plus
? Experience with Yardi is a plus
? Excellent organizational skills
? Ability to multitask, exercise initiate and good judgment
? Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills. This is a contractor-facing role with a high level of communication.
? Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands, volumes and schedules
