Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Ramsay is seeking an adaptive and hardworking Contracts Administrator to create, maintain and manage a contract repository. Reporting directly to the General Manager for Clinical Procurement, you will play a crucial role in developing term sheets, triggering contract amendments, variations, and expirations, recording inclusion changes and extensions, whilst keeping the Clinical Category Management team informed of upcoming renewals. Additionally, you will respond to supplier inquiries and support contract-related activities to ensure proactive and seamless contract management. Please be advised that this position is a 24-month contract opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS
- You may have to provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and maintain a contracts register with consistent updates and accuracy.
- Record changes, extensions, and amendments to contracts promptly and accurately.
- Monitor contract expiration dates and notify the team proactively about upcoming renewals.
- Ensure relevant stakeholders are well-informed in advance of contract renewals.
- Document all contract modifications thoroughly and communicate them effectively.
- Engage with Legal Counsel to ensure timely and accurate document control.
- Engage with Ramsay Australian and Global Executive to support document execution.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures for contract management.
- Serve as the primary contact for contractual ESG reporting and new vendor activation.
- Coordinate quarterly Business Review meetings for contracts, including record-keeping and vendor accountability.
Key skills and experience you bring to the role include:
- Experience in contract administration or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in contract law and vendor commercial engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently as required.
- Proven ability to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.
- High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
