We’re seeking applications from experienced Contracts Administrators to join our team for an upcoming bridge upgrade project in Bunbury, regional WA. This project, running for approximately 12 months, will involve the construction of a new bridge over a major waterway, improving connectivity and ensuring long-term infrastructure resilience.
The scope of work includes bridge foundation construction, structural improvements, and road realignments to enhance access and safety. This is a great opportunity to be part of a technically challenging project that will make a lasting impact on the local community.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant formal qualifications or previous experience in contracts/project administration in a principal contractor environment.
  • Experience with and understanding of procurement and commercial processes and procedures.
  • Experience with and understanding of financial/cost/project management system and processes.
  • Understanding of Company subcontract terms and their implications for project delivery and risk.
  • Sound negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing progress/assessment claims.
  • Analysing contracts to assess the requirements of the principal.
  • Subcontract preparation, variation administration, pricing, and negotiation.
  • Cost management and forecasting including coding.
  • Review subcontract agreements including standard conditions relevant to the specific trades.
  • Timely and accurate processing of payments in accordance with the Security of Payments Act.
