Contracts and Pricing Operations, Senior Associate

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of sales, marketing, finance, contracts and/or project management experience

OR

  • Associate’s degree and 6 years of sales, marketing, finance, contracts and/or project management experience

OR

  • High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales, marketing, finance, contracts and/or project management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in sales & marketing, finance, contracts or project management
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility
  • Very strong computer & M/S Office skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Communicates effectively within department.
  • High attention to detail/reporting accuracy, while also able to focus on the overall problem/solution
  • Translates high volumes of data into meaningful information to support key business decisions

Responsibilities:

In this vital role you will The Contracts and Pricing Operations, Sr. Associate is a key member of Strategic Pricing and Contracts (SPC) specifically within the Managed Care Rebates team. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring complete and accurate processing of managed care contractual rebates in the Global Contracts and Pricing System (GCPS) to support the timely calculation, execution, and reporting of contracted discounts extended to customers. This position operates within a fast-paced environment. This position will closely collaborate with several cross-functional groups including IS, Pricing, Government Pricing, and Legal. This position is responsible for ensuring that the discount process, documentation, and execution are performed in accordance with US Contracts and Pricing Operations, Government Pricing, Sarbanes Oxley, and other applicable policies. Additional responsibilities include, developing spreadsheet models for moderately complex financial analyses, delivering formal presentations, participation and leadership of special projects within SPC; participation in Contract development and review; collaboration with IS to assist in requirements development; and identify/recommend process improvements and lead implementation efforts. This position also provides analyses and recommendations to support decisions by team management.
