Job Description
SUBCONTRACT ADMINISTRATION:
Providing assistance to the Project Manager to produce the Project Execution Plan, including a detailed subcontracting and procurement plan.
Monitoring and updating the subcontracting plan to ensure that key dates within the master project schedule are achieved
Preparation of standard terms and conditions of subcontract, modified where necessary to incorporate the requirements of the main contract.
Preparation of “Invitation to Tender” packages in conjunction with Project Engineers.
Evaluation of tenders, negotiation with tenderers and preparation of “Recommendations of Award” for approval by the Project Manager and Senior Management.
Evaluation and agreement of subcontractor interim progress claims.
Assessment, negotiation and agreement of subcontractor variations and claims.
Ensuring that “Contra Charges” are collated and recovered from subcontractor’s accounts.
Evaluation, negotiation and agreement of Subcontractor final accounts.
