Contracts Manager- Investments
This can be a remote role with the flexibility to work virtually from most places in the United States, as well as the option to work from an Aon office in the United States, as may be preferred. Aon is in the business of better decisions

Serve as Contracts Manager within the law department to support the Investments Practice
Draft and negotiate a variety of agreements, including but not limited to investment management agreements, investment consulting agreements, and fund side letters
Review requests for proposals with respect to the legal and contracting requirements
Prepare and coordinate annual review of contract templates across the Human Capital practice with internal clients
Assist in the preparation of private fund documents, including coordinating with external counsel and third-party service providers
Coordinate investment fund board meeting materials with external fund service providers and internal clients
Represent the legal department on assigned Aon committees, contributing to important decision-making processes
Assist the legal team on special projects as well assist other areas of the Human Capital law deparment, as needed
The role provides a wonderful opportunity to build relationships with internal and external clients and expand your knowledge of the investment advisory industry. Skills and experience that will lead to success
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience/training)
Minimum 6 years of experience in a financial services firm and/or investment management law firm practice.
Working knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940; familiarity with ERISA is a plus but not required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong negotiating skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of our organization.
Ability to exercise independent initiative and sound judgment in daily tasks, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $109,400 to $125,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, IL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
