Description:

OVERVIEW

With over 50 years of safety expertise, CORGI Technical Services provides auditing, consultancy and training services to the social housing and facilities management sectors. We are currently looking to expand our nationwide team of Electrical Contract Managers to support existing client contracts across the country.
Reporting to the Client Support Director, the ideal candidate will have a high level of industry knowledge and have spent time working in quality control and auditing roles within the electrical environment. Previous experience directly within social housing is desirable but not essential. You will have a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication, and customer service. In addition, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of professionalism combined with an up-to-date knowledge of compliance and legislation.

DESIRABLE TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Level 4 Qualification in the Design, Erection and Verification of Electrical Systems or Other Suitable Level 4 or Above Qualification
  • Level 3 Award in Assessment

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Level 3 Qualification in Electrical Inspection and Testing
  • Level 3 Qualification in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: Current Edition
  • Level 3 Electrotechnical NVQ Following Completion of Formal Apprenticeship

Responsibilities:

  • Support Technical Safety Managers on all aspects of contract delivery
  • Deliver occasional special project work, as instructed by Technical Safety Managers or business / client requirements
  • Maintain all portal records / quality check audits and provide appropriate training and support to clients as required
  • Undertake all audit reviews and provide feedback to all stakeholders
  • Attend client meetings as requested
  • Recruit and on-board new auditors and undertake frequent QC checks. Complete and log appropriate records
  • Deliver client toolbox talks
  • Deliver CORGI/ASCP technical electrical courses
  • Assist with planning and contract logistics
  • Perform Auditing Services for clients as required
  • Provide Technical Support to clients and auditors as required
  • Promote Best Practise at all times
  • Undertake company Health and Safety/policy and procedure training
  • Work within a given region, with a willingness to undertake occasional travel
