EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND KEY SKILLS

• Broad spectrum of technical knowledge relating to contracts management.
• Experience managing contracts for construction projects. Experience working with FIDIC is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
• Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
• Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
• Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ready to work on site (Milan)
• Proficiency in English and Italian

QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineering degree

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Contract oversight
• Ensure contract compliance, oversee assurance process
• Draft and issue project correspondence on behalf of the client
• Contract management and administration
• Claims preparation and assessment
• Change control, variation management
• Subcontracting strategy, oversight & approvals
• Pro-active commercial risk management
• Lead project meetings as appropriate
