Description:
ESS provides a home away from home for people working in remote mining villages and offshore on oil rigs. We provide the hospitality solutions to ensure all guests are getting the comforts of home even in isolated locations.
We currently have an opportunity for a dynamic business professional to join our ESS business in the capacity of Contract Manager.
The Contract Manager will oversee contract compliance, manage client relationships, and handle scope changes and variations. Key responsibilities include auditing contracts, supporting sub-contractor onboarding, tracking costs and forecasts, and preparing monthly reports and P&L analysis. The role also involves managing contract databases, and amendments, and ensuring policy compliance. We’re looking for a proactive team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders. Previous experience in managing service contracts is essential, and experience in the resource industry will be a significant differentiator. You will also handle contracts within a top 5 rentable company portfolio, present Quarterly Business Reports, and assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Engaging with our clients on commercial/contract compliance matters, scope changes or contract variation requests
- Managing contract compliance and monthly compliance reporting, including KPI reports
- Auditing the commercial contracts to ensure there is no revenue leakage
- Providing support with onboarding sub-contractors, and related processes including invoice compilation for client charging
- Reviewing and tracking of cost reports/ expenditure, forecasting and variation management throughout duration of contract
- Supporting month end, budgets and forecasts
- Providing recommendations and preparing business cases on contractual improvements
- Month end reporting and P&L analysis
- Assist with budgets and forecasting preparation
- Assisting with audits and other ad-hoc projects
- Maintenance of contract databases, registers and files
- Facilitation of contract price and scope amendments with support from the commercial accounting team
- Administering head office invoice receipt, cost transfer and approval processes
- Ensuring purchase order books are accounted for and maintained in register
- Assisting with the collation and redistribution of site reporting and other information
- Preparing and presenting Quarterly Business Reports for our clients
- Other ad-hoc duties as required & instructed by the business General Manager
