Perceptyx is seeking to grow our Legal Team. We are in search of a Contracts Manager who possesses a keen ability to recognize patterns and analyze contracts within the SaaS industry. Some Things You Will Do:

  • Independently negotiate contract provisions within the scope of assigned authority.
  • Prepare and proofread customer contracts.
  • Ongoing contract monitoring and auditing to ensure contract compliance.
  • Understand, interpret and apply contract language, complex laws, legislative and regulatory directives, policies, standards and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and research skills, identify and troubleshoot issues, identify alternative solutions and make recommendations for action.
  • Assess risk and areas of exposure; offer suggestions for mitigation.
  • Review and respond to client red-lines, draft contracts from templates, and review and edit RFPs and contractual documents from clients.
  • Negotiate terms, indemnification and limitation of liability
  • Advocate for best practices while remaining flexible if management decides the risks is acceptable.
  • Work with various teams including Finance, Security/Governance, Quality and Sales
  • Build/maintain an internal contract database that records key requirements from each contract (this includes logging all historical contracts).
  • Partner with the business and build appropriate communication channels to ensure all stakeholders are aware of and complying with all contract requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) is a must.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience processing customer contracts from creation through final execution, including drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating with third parties; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be qualifying.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS, MSA contract negotiation, and Licensing contracts.
  • Exceptional time management skills; prioritization in managing multiple priorities.
  • Independent person who can spot red flags and deal with them professionally.
  • Solid understanding of methods, tools, and techniques associated with contract development, review, implementation, and management.
  • Willingness to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Perceptyx is focused on equitable pay for all our staff and aims for transparency with our pay practices. The salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually. This range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to:*
