Description:
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Contracts Manager in the healthcare and biotech industry. The position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a Contracts Manager, you will be handling tasks related to contracts management, data privacy, and customer inquiries in a dynamic workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial contracts and agreements
- Utilize the software system Agiloft for efficient contracts management
- Ensure data privacy regulations and guidelines are adhered to in all contract procedures
- Contribute to the operations of clinical trials through effective contracts management
- Handle Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Statements of Work (SOWs) with precision and accuracy
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records
- Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
- Contribute your expertise in the biotech industry to the development and execution of contracts.
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role or similar
- In-depth knowledge of commercial agreements and contracts
- Proficiency in clinical trial operations, particularly within the biotech industry
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and how they apply to commercial contracts
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to interpret and analyze contract terms and conditions
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
