Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Contracts Manager based in Houston, Texas. The role is within the industry and involves overseeing the negotiation and management of contracts, ensuring they are in alignment with company goals and legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and negotiate all company contracts, from initial request to final signature and implementation.
  • Implement strategies for effective contract negotiation and relationship management.
  • Oversee subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure they meet company requirements and standards.
  • Utilize knowledge of construction law to advise on legal issues and risks, company terms and conditions, and strategy for negotiation.
  • Monitor and manage the auditing of contracts to ensure accurate contractual records.
  • Collaborate with different teams, ensuring all agreements and transactions are conducted in line with internal and external regulations.
  • Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy.
  • Mitigate contractual and commercial risks and issues.
  • Ensure contract close-out, extension, or renewal is conducted as per company guidelines.
  • Manage the resolution of any contract-related queries or conflicts.
  • Proficient in Contract Negotiation and Contract Negotiations
  • Comprehensive understanding of Construction Law
  • Experience with Subcontract Agreements
  • Ability to manage Subcontractor Bids
  • Skilled in preparing and reviewing Subcontractor Proposals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
