Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is on the lookout for a dynamic Contracts Procurement Agent – whether you’re just starting out in your career, have some experience under your belt, or are a seasoned professional. In this role, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager for Contracts and Strategy.
Based out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to driving excellence in our Supply Chain Department. As a Contracts Procurement Agent, you will play a crucial role in managing contracts and procurement processes, ensuring the smooth flow of operations and fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience in Supplier Management or equivalent education
- Able and willing to travel domestically and international as needed (up to 10-20% of the time)
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE):
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in supporting supplier contract negotiations
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP system
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Entry-level (Level 1): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years’ related work experience).
Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years’ related work experience, 7 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Professional (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
- Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
- Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
- Creates risk mitigation plans and monitors performance to those plans.
- Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams.
- Demonstrates strong business acumen by assessing supplier’s business and operational health.
