The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts and Projects Manager to administrate contracts and the full lifecycle of associated projects. This dual role manages contracts for compliance and oversees project planning, resources, and performance to ensure organisational success. This position is critical to ensuring a safe and reliable end-of-life outcome for the AGL Bayswater Power Station and its rehabilitation post-closure. It is a role that will continue beyond the closure, offering the opportunity to be part of AGL and Australia’s history as we transition toward a greener future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimise contracts by collaborating with key stakeholders, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for contract improvement and alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report project performance, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Identify and mitigate financial, legal, and operational risks associated with contracts and projects.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication throughout contract and project lifecycles.

About You:
You are an influential leader with a keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can bring your expertise in both contract management and project execution.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in contract management and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent financial and analytical acumen for budgeting and decision-making.
  • Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in contract and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
