The Opportunity
This position works out of our Maidenhead location, working in the Abbott Diabetes Care division. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

Primary Objectives

  • To provide comprehensive administrator support to the Contracts & Compliance Manager – POC Team, Regional Managers and Territory Managers on all administration matters relating to Tender processes, contract preparation, implementation and maintenance of contracts.
  • To ensure all tender submissions are submitted on time, to a very high and accurate standard, thus providing ADC UK & Ireland the best chance of success in winning business.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and distribute contract / tender reports on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Deal with incoming tenders.
  • Prepare and submit quotations.
  • Implement policy guidelines and sign-off procedures.
  • Monitor contractual demand versus obligation.
  • Validate the data entered into P&Ls before sending for approval.

Required Qualifications

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Advanced level use of e-mail systems, ideally Microsoft Outlook.
  • Advanced level use of Word Microsoft Applications (Word, Powerpoint and Excel).
  • Ability to assimilate and complete complex documentation and collate appropriate supplementary information.
  • Strong attention to detail with a view to producing high quality work which will be reviewed by customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
