ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client, a reputable and growing residential low-rise developer, is seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator / Estimator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in contract management, project estimation, and hands-on knowledge of the Newstar software platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in contract administration and estimating in a low-rise residential development setting.
- Proficiency with Newstar software is essential.
- Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with residential construction practices and building codes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and manage all project-related contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, legal standards, and company policies.
- Track contract timelines, amendments, and progress to meet project deadlines.
- Estimating & Budgeting:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for low-rise residential projects.
- Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to manage pricing and negotiate supplier contracts.
- Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure the smooth execution of contracts.
- Assist in the tendering process by preparing RFPs and analyzing bids.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely reporting on project milestones.
