ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client, a reputable and growing residential low-rise developer, is seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator / Estimator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in contract management, project estimation, and hands-on knowledge of the Newstar software platform.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in contract administration and estimating in a low-rise residential development setting.
  • Proficiency with Newstar software is essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with residential construction practices and building codes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management:
  • Draft, review, and manage all project-related contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, legal standards, and company policies.
  • Track contract timelines, amendments, and progress to meet project deadlines.
  • Estimating & Budgeting:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for low-rise residential projects.
  • Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to manage pricing and negotiate supplier contracts.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure the smooth execution of contracts.
  • Assist in the tendering process by preparing RFPs and analyzing bids.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely reporting on project milestones.
