MISSION

Keysight is looking for a Contracts Manager to join our legal and contracts hub in Boeblingen, Stuttgart, to be responsible for providing contracts advice and support for Keysight in DACH, and more broadly in EMEA. Responsibilities:

Provide sound, practical and effective contracts advice and support to the companies’ internal stakeholders in DACH and designated countries within EMEA, including:

  • Responsible for the planning, drafting, consulting and negotiation of product, solution and service contracts of varying scope and complexity predominantly focused on external customers, but also with internal clients and suppliers in support of those end-user agreements.
  • Develops pre-sales bid and proposal strategies and contracts negotiation strategies. Works closely with Global Sales. Industry Solution Teams, Finance, Business Centre, colleagues in Legal and other functions to structure proposals and contracts consistent with business objectives and in compliance with Keysight policies.
  • Direct negotiation with customers (including large multi-nationals) on contracts T&Cs toward achieving a mutual balance of risk and commercial outcomes.
  • Undertaking pre-acquisition contractual due diligence and post-acquisition contract integration for M&A.
  • Negotiation of R&D and Collaboration Agreements.
  • Review of relevant aspects of customer compliance declaration and due diligence requests.

Ensuring that contracts are in line with Keysight policy, processes and approvals.

- Providing constructive, practical input into improvement of contractual methodology, process and initiatives such as SaaS, E-commerce and Rental programs, and standardization of T&Cs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Law or other commercial qualification (e.g. Finance, Commerce or Business).
  • Typically 5-8 years relevant experience for entry to this level.
  • Extensive negotiation experience, ideally gathered over multiple industries (preferably including software and technology) and cultures.
  • Excellent skills in writing about typical legal matters in German and English.
  • Fluent verbal communication in German and English. Other widely spoken languages in the Region (French, Spanish, Arabic, …) are desirable.
  • Organized, meticulous and committed to delivering high quality work.
  • Able to multitask and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • We are looking for a personality who is mature in experience, independent, positive, enthusiastic, energetic and proactive, and with high ethical standards.
  • Able to work with stakeholders and establish, strong trusted relationships on all levels, internally and externally.
  • Track record of leading projects/ processes requiring coordination with other functions.
  • Highly proficient in applications such as MS Office suite.
