DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-7 years’ experience with the above.
  • Prior experience reviewing and negotiating technology sales and vendor contracts.
  • Attention to detail and extensive proofreading experience.
  • Excellent MS Word, Excel and data management skills.
  • Natural curiosity to learn and willingness to take on new tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Contracts Specialist will join ORBCOMM to support contracts review and negotiations, compliance matters, as well as other Legal Department initiatives. The successful candidate will be a team player with a “can do” attitude who is willing to learn about and support all areas within the ORBCOMM Legal Department. The Contracts Specialist will be responsive in a fast-paced environment and will be a problem solver willing to help and provide support wherever needed. This position reports to the General Counsel and will support the greater Legal Department.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing and reviewing NDAs and sales and vendor contracts and amendments, as well as corresponding regarding contract matters and coordinating distribution of documents.
  • Managing Know Your Customer (KYC) data requests and other similar customer-required representations and certifications, including ESG data support initiatives.
  • Tracking and maintaining the Director and Officer List for all ORBCOMM subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • Coordinating and managing customer and vendor compliance reviews.
  • Supporting privacy data requests, including DSARs, etc.
