DESCRIPTION:
Our Murarrie office are seeking a diligent and proactive Contracts Specialist who will be responsible for providing commercial support to Powertech’s EPC and Services projects and legal support to the wider business. This includes reviewing complex contract terms, advising on commercial matters, administering contracts, leading reviews of commercial performance and managing disputes. The Contracts Specialist must have a strong understanding of commercial/legal principles and practices. Experience in the electrical EPC industry would be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development, configuration and improvement of commercial policy, processes and procedures to build a robust commercial framework.
Develop and maintain commercial risk register
Review contract terms and conditions, identifying risks and opportunities.
Provide accurate, practical, legally and commercially astute advice to internal stakeholders.
Prepare and administer contracts, subcontracts, MOU’s, JV’s and supplier agreements.
Lead reviews of commercial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Prepare commercial reports and presentations for the Board.
Represent the company at commercial meetings and negotiations.
Support the business with commercial/legal disputes.
Renewal of property leases and insurance policies.
