REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

You must meet ONE of the provided options and any additional criteria listed:

Option 1: Six (6) or more years of experience in fiscally responsible management of state government programs experience.

Option 2: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Health Care Administration, Public/Business Administration, or a closely allied field; AND two (2) or more years of experience in fiscally responsible management of state government programs experience.
Examples of experience (applies to both options): Preparing and managing budgets, contracts, or grants; assisting in developing a biennial budget, and budget control procedures to assure accountability and appropriate financial management of resources. Monitoring section contracts to ensure compliance and fiscal responsibilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) or more years of professional experience developing and managing contracts, including approval of contract expenditures.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide leadership, to the Contracts Unit staff.
- Offer expert consultation on contract development and management to ensure OHS receives expected products and deliverables and can effectively monitor contract performance.
- Collaborate with office, division, and agency staff to manage and track all OHS contracts.
- Work with fiscal staff across the office, division, and agency to ensure accountability.
