Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING!

As an Control Systems Developer, you will contribute to complex engineering projects and products through designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications using object oriented programming, industrial programming, communication protocols and more!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Design, create and maintain product-centric functional PLC and HMI programs.
  • Support and maintain development through all stages of the CI/CD lifecycle
  • Identifying and implementing operational improvements
  • Create and apply innovative algorithms for mechanical and electrical system controls
  • Implementing changes to existing and creating new engineering designs with respect to control systems hardware and software
  • Conduct code reviews, regression testing, end-to-end testing, debugging, and more
  • Contribute to projects and post-deployment activities by providing technical documentation, adhering to coding standards, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Execute on-site control system and software commissioning at global rail locations
