Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements including consolidated;
  • Manage the month-end process;
  • Overseeing the management of financial operations (Payable/Receivable);
  • Analyze financial performance by department;
  • Assistance in the preparation and analysis of departmental budgets;
  • Develop and monitor performance indicators;
  • Validate and track inter-company transactions;
  • Validate pay processing compliance;
  • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow;
  • Prepare the year-end file for the external accounting firm;
  • Prepare government rebates (GST/TVQ, instalments);
  • Participate in the processes for improving accounting practices;
  • Overseeing the year-end process;
  • Book keeping;
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of the company and 4 subsidiaries;
  • Monitor monthly deviations and reporting;
  • Perform daily banking reconciliation;
  • Oversee monthly inventories;
  • Working in a multi-currency environment
  • Classification and retention of accounting and legal documents;
  • Participate in the implementation and creation of a new operating system (within 5 years)
