QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Accounting, or related field with a focus on controlling, tax or accounting.
  • Experience: Background in controlling, tax consulting and/or auditing with emphasis on transfer pricing within a multinational organization.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA and SAP BI is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong analytical mindset for solving complex problems, excellent communication skills for adapting complex tax concepts to various stakeholders, and a consultative approach to turning insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Certifications: Tax Advisor Exam is beneficial but not required. Responsibilities:

  • Alignment: You will be responsible for connecting FFL’s transfer pricing and process needs with the overarching global approach at Freudenberg. This includes ensuring adherence to the requirements set by international tax authorities and aligning these with business needs.
  • Implementation: Lead the advancement of our transfer pricing systems, adapting them to meet both regulatory and business requirements. This also involves supporting system landscapes and internal controls, while managing associated risks.
  • Monitoring: Oversee and maintain the tax compliance of our intercompany cost allocations, manage tax risks, and ensure adherence to established internal controls. This also includes reviewing processes to ensure they comply with global financial standards.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure the creation and coordination of documentation that upholds tax compliance, support the set-up of service-level agreements, deliver organizational training, and defend transfer pricing policies during German and international tax audits.
  • Financial Oversight: Assist in the financial controlling process, supporting the company’s financial objectives by analyzing and improving financial data related to transfer pricing, cost allocations, and internal reporting, ensuring consistent regulatory adherence.
