YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a Controller with strong analytical skills and experience in financial controlling or business intelligence, ideally within a SaaS environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support business strategies and drive growth.

• Passion for working in a constantly moving and challenging environment, willingness to leave the own comfort zone and embody an entrepreneurial drive to make things happen.
• Experience in (Financial) Controlling or Business Intelligence (ideally 3+ years), ideally in a SaaS company and the ability to connect operational decisions with financial outcome.
• Excellent analytical skills and a structured, independent way of working as well as IT affinity – experience with Jedox/EPM/BI software is a big plus.
• Strong conceptual thinking skills and a good understanding of business contexts.
• Ability to work in a team, a high level of interpersonal intelligence and strong communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills in German and English.

The role can be based ideally near one of our offices in Freiburg or Frankfurt, or remotely with occasional travel to Freiburg.

In your role as Controller (m/f/d), you will support functional departments in optimizing performance and costs. You’ll develop and refine reports, drive digitalization and automation with our Jedox software, and ensure data-driven decision-making. Your work will help streamline internal processes and support strategic initiatives.

• Be a business partner for functional departments in all cost and performance matters.
• Creation, quality assurance and continuous development of meaningful reports as well as conceptual and content-related enhancement of the SaaS-relevant KPIs.
• Process optimization as well as automation and digitalization with Jedox’ own software solution and other function-specific solutions.
• Participate in and lead exciting projects in an international environment, as well as the continuously improve of our internal processes.
• Supporting the budget process and keeping track of deviations in daily business as well as providing ad hoc analysis.
