Description:

We are inviting applications for the role of a Controller based in Lee, Massachusetts area. This role is crucial to our financial operations, encompassing accounting transactions, financial analysis, and reporting. The Controller will be integral to supporting strategic and operational management decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial operations and manage reporting relationships.
  • Regularly prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Prepare monthly financial metric reports to analyze operating performance against budget and previous periods.
  • Take charge of the annual budgeting process.
  • Coordinate with designated CPA firms for annual financial audits, 401K plan audits, and preparation and filing of annual tax returns.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP regulations in all financial operations and reporting.
  • Oversee the accounts receivables collections process to ensure outstanding balances are collected as per agreed payment terms.
  • Review and ensure that bank statements, balance sheets, and expense accounts are accurately stated and reconciled monthly.
  • Manage cash activity and oversee the required management reporting.

This role requires expertise in Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, Month End Close, GAAP Accounting, IFRS Accounting, Manufacturing, and Financial Statement Preparation.

  • Proficiency in Accounting Functions
  • Demonstrated experience in Auditing
  • Familiarity with Budget Processes
  • Proficient in Month End Close procedures
  • Knowledge of GAAP Accounting principles
  • Understanding of IFRS Accounting standards
  • Experience in Manufacturing sector is preferred
  • Ability to prepare Financial Statements
