Description:
Title: Controller - CONTRACT role
Location: Nashville , Tennessee
Industry - Hotel
This role is pivotal in managing the company’s financial health by performing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance, and providing financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Manage and maintain the General Ledger
- Perform Cash Flow Analysis to monitor the company’s financial status
- Ensure Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare Financial Statements for management review
- Conduct Financial Reporting to provide accurate and timely financial information
- Manage Budget Processes and oversee budget implementation
- Utilize Accounting Software Systems to automate and streamline financial tasks
- Resolve financial discrepancies and irregularities
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the auditing process.
- Strong knowledge and experience with all accounting functions
- Proficiency in using accounting software systems
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Familiarity with budget processes and financial planning
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements
- Proficiency in cash flow analysis and financial forecasting
- Experience in ensuring compliance with accounting and financial regulations
- Proficiency in financial reporting and preparing reports for stakeholders
- Experience in maintaining and managing the general ledger
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
