Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the industry, located in Collierville, Tennessee. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial functions. This role is an integral part of our team and will provide the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business operations.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Budget Processes, and Month End Close.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or related financial field
  • Proficiency in 3M
  • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Ability to work with Crystal Reports
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience with Accounting Functions
  • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Proven track record in Auditing
  • Familiarity with Budget Processes
  • Ability to handle Month End Close operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong regulatory reporting knowledge
  • CPA or similar certification would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Coordinate auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Utilize Accounting Software Systems such as 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports to streamline accounting procedures
  • Perform month-end close procedures and prepare financial reports for senior management
  • Ensure the smooth operation of budget processes and financial forecasting
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
  • Utilize skills in accounting functions to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Act as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and disputes, resolving them in a timely manner
  • Assist in the transition of senior leadership roles, preparing for future advancements within the company.
