We are in search of a Technical Accountant based in Grand Rapids, Michigan that is 100% remote for 6 months. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and involves complex accounting in senior roles, with a focus on international accounting, consolidations, and technical accounting knowledge. The Technical Accountant will handle a variety of responsibilities, including dealing with accounting integrations, consolidations, and conversions.

• Oversee and handle complex accounting procedures and transactions
• Conduct technical accounting tasks, including understanding and applying ASC 606 and lease accounting
• Manage accounting integrations and consolidations efficiently
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, specifically in areas such as intangibles, holdbacks, and auditing support
• Provide support for audit processes and procedures
• Utilize knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in accounting practices
• Handle financial integration tasks as required
• Convert accounting practices from other standards to US GAAP, ensuring accurate translation and application
• Apply CPA skills in various accounting tasks and responsibilities
• Must possess strong skills in Technical Accounting
• Proficiency in International Accounting is essential
• Must be knowledgeable in IFRS Accounting
• Experience with Consolidations is required
• Familiarity with ASC 606 is necessary
• Must have a background in Audit
• Should possess a CPA certification
• Experience with Leases is a plus
• Must be skilled in Financial Integration
• Proficiency in US GAAP is required
