Description:

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Controller in Orlando, Florida. This role is integral to our team, providing essential support to our subscription-based operations. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, utilizing Quickbooks ERP and a POS system, and managing financial consolidation for multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting processes
  • Utilize Quickbooks ERP and MyStudio POS systems to manage financial operations
  • Consolidate financial data from multiple locations for parent shared service
  • Ensure accurate processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Perform regular audits to ensure financial data accuracy
  • Manage and review journal entry preparation and balance sheet account reconciliation
  • Monitor and manage budget processes across multiple locations
  • Ensure compliance with ADP - Financial Services standards and regulations
  • Regularly review and update accounting software systems as needed
  • Resolve any accounting and financial issues or inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
  • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services.
  • Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions.
  • Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Experience in Auditing.
  • Detailed understanding of Budget Processes.
  • Proficiency in Full Cycle Accounting.
  • Experience in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation.
  • Ability to prepare and review Journal Entries.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
