A Management Resources client is in immediate need for a highly experienced and energetic Controller Consultant to join our team on a 100% remote, interim basis. The ideal candidate will direct and organize all aspects of our accounting operations according to both statutory and GAAP requirements. This includes overseeing all transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, tax, and financial reporting.
The Controller Consultant will be responsible for preparing consolidated monthly financial statements and management reports for all our foreign entities. They will proactively identify business opportunities through management analysis of financial statements and work on the automation and efficiency of processes and systems.
Additional responsibilities will include management of team and staff performance, ensuring adherence to corporate strategic planning, and the implementation of improved policies and procedures. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing all foreign matters, from statutory audits and tax filings to legal compliance and stakeholder communication.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Business or Accounting degree is mandatory; a master’s in business administration or finance is preferred.
CPA designation is preferred.
NetSuite experience preferred.
At least 7 years of experience in a senior management role, ideally with both external audit and in-house financial management experience gained in a high-growth organization.
Experience leading a global or international finance organization is essential.
Previous exposure to SaaS and collaboration with Private Equity Groups is advantageous.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire a team and drive common goals.
Capability to manage change effectively within a team.
Highly organized, attentive to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.
Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Fluency in English and French, both in written and spoken form, with the ability to efficiently work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
