We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Midland, Texas. This role is within the governmental industry and requires an individual experienced in managing accounting functions. The workplace is dynamic and fast-paced, and the employment type is permanent.

• Oversee all accounting activities and ensure they align with the set standards and regulations
• Lead the auditing process and ensure it is done accurately and within the set timeline
• Manage the budgeting process, from planning to allocation and monitoring of resources
• Handle the accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed
• Use your knowledge of GASB in the execution and management of financial tasks
• Provide leadership in the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring they are done accurately and efficiently
• Oversee the maintenance of accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Utilize the ADP - Financial Services in managing financial tasks and processes.
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Must be able to manage Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Budget Processes is essential
