Description:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Columbus, Wisconsin. The role involves working closely with various departments, recording transactions, managing accounts, and improving processes. You will work within the industry, utilizing your skills in accounting functions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing. Responsibilities:
Accounting: Overseeing daily accounting operations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Financial reporting: Preparing financial reports and statements, and coordinating with external auditors
Budgeting: Managing the budget process, including preparing operating budgets, forecasting, and monitoring variances
Financial analysis: Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, efficiencies, and areas for cost reduction
Staff management: Hiring, training, and retaining accounting staff
Financial decision making: Working with the executive team to guide the organization’s financial decisions
- Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar financial role
- Knowledge and experience with 3M
- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Ability to generate and interpret Crystal Reports
- Proficient in accounting functions
- Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Skilled in auditing procedures
- Familiarity with budget processes.
