Description:

We are seeking a Controller for a Healthcare organization in Denver, Colorado. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Controller, you will play a key role in managing the organization’s financial operations, overseeing accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with GAAP Accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Implement and maintain Accounting Software Systems for efficient financial management
  • Conduct regular auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance with established financial regulations and standards
  • Lead the budget processes, ensuring accurate and timely budget preparation
  • Utilize Oracle NetSuite Technologies, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software to perform financial tasks efficiently
  • Conduct Month End Close and Year End Closings, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Manage customer inquiries, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
  • Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action as needed
  • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating as needed.
  • Proven experience of 5 years or more in a Controller role or similar financial leadership position
  • Mastery of Accounting Software Systems
  • Proficiency in managing all Accounting Functions
  • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Strong knowledge of Auditing practices and principles
  • Expertise in managing Budget Processes
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite Technologies
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Month End Close and Year End Closings procedures
  • In-depth understanding of GAAP Accounting
