Description:
We are hiring! We are looking to recruit a Controls Analyst on a FTC for 12 months to join our Finance Department. This is a critical role to assist the Head of Controls in developing and implementing a company-wide Controls Framework by identifying, documenting and rolling out material controls, and by monitoring their continuing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the initial implementation of the Controls Management System (CMS), ensuring clear and consistent documentation standards and capturing accountabilities / responsibilities for each ‘material control’. Assist in developing training material and comms plans for Company wide system users.
- Complete the documentation of business wide material controls, including control gaps. Monitor the remediation of gaps, and keep the remediation tracker up to date.
- Assist with the roll out of the material controls, including communication, training, and ongoing support to Process Owners, Control Owners and Control Operators.
- Perform initial testing of material controls to ensure they are operating as designed.
- Administer and maintain the CMS to ensure risks and controls are updated and there is ongoing compliance across the business with the requirements of the Controls Framework.
What are we looking for:
- A- Level or equivalent
- University Degree or equivalent
- Documenting risks and controls and/or writing policies and procedures
- Testing compliance with controls / procedures
- Identifying compliance issues and agreeing actions
- 2-3 years + experience in working for a large retail business
- Creating and delivering training content to Company wide stakeholders
- Administering / maintaining information in an IT system
- Highly articulate, personable and engaging
- Ability to identify, engage and tailor communication to the relevant stakeholders
- Good influencing and stakeholder management skills
