They act for many of the biggest names in entertainment and have expertise across a range of practice areas and industries, including conveyancing. A dynamic and vibrant firm, their philosophy is to offer practical and cost effective legal advice by a caring, experienced and dedicated team.
Their office in Werribee specializes in conveyancing and as such are looking for a conveyancer to join their team of professionals. The training will be done in Prahran.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
You will typically act for vendors and purchasers, handling residential purchases and sales, commercial and off-the-plan purchases, reviewing contracts of sale, and generally providing an end-to-end conveyancing service that helps their clients’ property dreams come to fruition.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage property transactions from initial advice to settlement
- Deal with residential, commercial, strata, leasehold, off the plan and subdivisions
- Prepare and review contracts, leases, and other legal documents
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, and lenders to ensure a smooth process
- Conduct research and provide clear, actionable advice to clients ensuring that all legal requirements and obligations are met within deadlines
The ideal candidate should have at least 1- 2 years experience in a similar role with sound conveyancing expertise.
- Proven experience in conveyancing, with a solid track record of managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions
- Strong understanding of property law, regulations, and conveyancing procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal terms to clients in an easily understandable manner
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and cases simultaneously
- Proficiency in using case management software
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest ethical standard
