Description:
Lextegic is looking for a full-time senior conveyancer or real estate paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience in residential conveyancing to work at their Burnaby office. It is not a requirement, but it will be an asset if the candidate has experience working on commercial and development files.
The successful candidate will have experience working from start to finish on residential conveyancing, including but not limited to sales, purchases, refinances, and private lender files.

- Well-versed with E-Conveyance and MyLTSA;

Responsibilities:
- Sending out intake forms to clients;
- Opening up files on econveyance and our shared drive;
- Review legal documents such as the Contract of Purchase and Sale;
- Ordering all necessary documents in order to complete the file, such as title searches, tax certificates, strata documents, payouts, etc.;
- Review mortgage documents or mortgage discharge documents;
- Generate all closing documents and reporting documents;
- Correspond with the client during their conveyance;
- Filing transfer documents at the Land Title Office;
- Data entry and writing cheques; and
- Corresponding with the lawyer to make sure every transaction is smooth.
