Conveyancing Admin Assistant
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Conveyancing Admin Assistant to join our Residential Property team in our modern Farnborough office. This is a very busy team within our progressive law firm, handling a large number of transactions each year.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering department telephones and directing calls appropriately
  • General administrative duties
  • Assisting with telephone inquiries as directed by fee-earning lawyers
  • Scanning, filing, and distributing post in P4W
  • Processing or directing initial inquiries
  • Creating new entities, producing quotes, and sending them to prospects
  • Creating new matters and issuing client instruction documents
  • Scanning and copying
  • Contacting third parties via telephone and/or email at the request of fee-earning lawyers and their assistants
  • Maintaining the case management system
  • Managing financial ledgers
  • Maintaining the lender portal
  • Assisting on post exchange matters
  • Closing files and performing associated tasks
    Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work independently, possess a mature attitude, and be strong team players. Consistently maintaining high standards and excellent IT skills are essential.
    While legal experience is not required, experience in an office environment is advantageous. The ideal candidate will have excellent data entry and administration skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
