JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Conveyancing Case Handler/ Fee Earner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in similar role, possess a good understanding of property law and conveyancing processes, ensuring smooth transactions for our clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail to manage multiple cases effectively.

EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate should have:

  • Minimum 2 years proven experience in conveyancing or a related legal field.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a mixed caseload of residential conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to completion.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds.
  • Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other professionals involved in the transaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the process.
  • Provide timely updates to clients regarding the progress of their transactions.

  • Handle any issues or disputes that may arise during the conveyancing process.
