OUR OPPORTUNITY

To support our ongoing growth, PROK Conveyor Components is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer or Structural Engineer who is well-organised, personable and reliable with hands-on skills and experience with belt conveyors. The position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Bayswater, WA.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Field inspections and audits of conveyor systems and components to assess operational performance and identify currently installed equipment and conditions.
  • Prepare audit reports with recommendations for achieving primary performance, enhancing conveyor performance and reliability, and improving maintainability.
  • Analysis of conveyor maintenance records and data to identify repeat failure causes and opportunities for extended service life and reliability.
  • Field-based quality control and technical support during PROK equipment installation and maintenance works.
  • Assessment of current maintenance, transport, storage, and handling processes to improve safety, efficiency and recommend modified equipment designs.
  • Prepare professional proposals, reports and training documentation with input from the Engineering Team, Operations, clients and suppliers.
