Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and ensuring that all departments are working together efficiently and effectively. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to develop and implement strategies that will help the company achieve its goals and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in a senior management role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful operational strategies of Space Systems
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in the industry is a plus
- Cleared
Preference:
- General or Colonel who is retiring or retired with deep rooted in Space Force Command or Operations.
- Colorado Springs based.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision
- Oversee all departments and ensure that they are working together effectively
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure that the company is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with the CEO and other senior executives to develop and implement long-term strategic plans
- Provide leadership and guidance to all employees
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
- Manage the company’s budget and financial performance
- Identify and manage risks that may impact the company’s operations
